The Junkmen is a family owned and operated business servicing the entire greater Pittsburgh area. In 2008, The Junkmen’s doors opened when we discovered a need for junk removal services on multiple platforms. Roger Valente, our company’s Vice President came up with the idea when he needed to help move his mother to a new smaller residence. “She had so much stuff that she had collected over the years. It took us several days to clear it out.” Roger realized that many families were probably in need of these services. “I wanted to start a company that could help people get rid of the junk they didn’t want anymore.” And that is how the The Junkmen was founded.
